Warrington, Cheshire, UK – 22nd June 2017 – Leading provider of innovative hospitality solutions Verteda Ltd, an MSL Solutions Company is deploying Point of Sale technology in the new 150-bedroom four-star Hotel at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester, home of Lancashire County Cricket Club (LCCC). The hotel, which opens in summer 2017, has been described as “the crowning glory of Emirates Old Trafford’s redevelopment”.
The £15m Hotel will be operated by LCCC under a franchise arrangement with a major chain, and replaces the Old Trafford Lodge. The new hotel has five floors, including rooms overlooking the world famous cricket pitch that can be converted into hospitality boxes for match days, plus a bar, restaurant, fitness centre and branded coffee shop. The installation includes three main Point of Sale solutions, two in the bar and one in the restaurant, alongside two Voyager 1 mobile POS solutions for the restaurant and an additional POS/mobile tablet for the reception area coffee shop.

The project is fully under way, with a Verteda/Agilysys team gathering data from the site and building the new system.”
Services provided include data build, installation, training, user acceptance testing and go-live, which is scheduled for 18th July. Verteda’s specific responsibilities include the build and install of Voyager 1 mobile devices and software, including server build and onsite device configuration.
